Here First Open Microsoft Edge and click on three dots (…) to open settings.

Then in SETTINGS pane, Scroll down until you find the "clear browsing data" button and click on the "choose what to clear" button underneath it.This opens options to clear browsing data, Here By default, Browsing History, Cookies, saved website data, and Cached data files are checked, but you can choose from additional data options in the list by click on Show more . The Show more collapsed menu reveals other options to select.

1. Media licenses
2. Pop-up exceptions
3. Location permissions
4. Full screen permissions
5. Notifications permissions.

As you can see from the listing, those are all related to sites or media that you have accessed in the browser.

If after perform the first option still Edge Browser not working properly, Then using Power shell we can Reset Microsoft Edge browser To Default Settings. Fallow bellow steps to do that.

First close the Edge Web Browser if its running or move task manager  under process tab look for Microsoft Edge , right click on it and select End Task. After that close The Task Manager Window.

Now open This PC, Click the View tab and then check Hidden items ( As Shown Bellow image ) checkbox to see all hidden files and folders.

Now  Navigate to the following directory:

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Packages ( Where “C” is the drive where Windows 10 is installed, and UserName is your account name. )

Here you will see the package Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe, Right click on it and select properties. Here under General tab > Attributes, uncheck the Read only check-box. and click apply.

Remove Read only for packages

Click ok When when the confirm attribute changes screen opens. Now again right click on package Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe and select Delete and close the window.

We now need to re-register Microsoft Edge. To do so, open Windows PowerShell with admin rights by typing PowerShell in Start/taskbar search, right-clicking on Windows PowerShell in search results, and then clicking Run as administrator option. Click Yes button when you see UAC prompt.

When the power shell opens type the following command and hit Enter

How to re-register Microsoft Edge using power shell

This will re-install Edge browser. Once done, you will receive a Operation completed message.
Restart your Windows 10 computer and see if this has worked for you.
